1. Satisfaction Guarantee & Returns

At Robert Electronics, we stand behind our hardware. If you change your mind, we offer a straightforward return process:

  • Cooling-off Period: Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery.

  • Condition: Items must be in "As New" condition, unopened, and in original packaging.

  • Process: To maintain security and quality control, all returns require prior RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization). Please contact us with photos confirming the factory seal is intact before shipping.

  • Restocking Fee: A 14% restocking fee applies to "change of mind" returns to cover testing and re-certification costs.

  • Shipping: Customers are responsible for return shipping using a trackable method. Items must be sent to our designated US facility (Unauthorized returns to our administrative office will not be accepted).

We provide robust warranty coverage based on the product condition to ensure your data center's uptime:

  • Brand New Retail/OEM: 5-Year Limited Warranty.

  • Refurbished & Recertified: 2-Year Comprehensive Warranty.

Our "No-Hassle" Replacement Guarantee: If a drive fails within the warranty period, we don't just repair it—we replace it. Upon verification of a Seagate/Manufacturer fault code, we will ship a identical model replacement directly to you.


3. Faulty on Arrival (DOA)

  • Business Customers: Please report any DOA or faulty items within 14 days of receipt.

  • Resolution: Once the fault is verified, we will provide a prepaid return label (for confirmed faults) and issue a full refund or immediate replacement.


4. How to Start an RMA (The Simple Way)

You don’t need to deal with international shipping. All RMA's are handled through our US-based logistics network.

  1. Run Diagnostics: Before returning, please run the Seagate SeaTools Diagnostic Scan to confirm the failure cause.

  2. Request Authorization: Email sales@robertelectronics.com with your S/N (Serial Number) and a screenshot of the failure report/fault code.

  3. Ship Locally: Once approved, we will issue an RMA number and the return address for our US warehouse.

  4. Inspection: Drives must be free of physical damage (dents, deep scratches, or cracked connectors). Physical damage voids the warranty.

  5. Fast Turnaround: Replacement units are typically processed and reshipped within 8-14 business days of receiving your return.
