OVERVIEW This website is operated by robertelectronics.com. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to robertelectronics.com. We offer this website, including all information, tools, and Services to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies, and notices stated here.

By visiting our site or purchasing from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service”, “Terms”), including those additional terms and conditions and policies referenced herein. These Terms apply to all users of the site.

SECTION 1 - ONLINE STORE TERMS By agreeing to these Terms, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence. You may not use our products for any illegal or unauthorized purpose. A breach or violation of any of the Terms will result in an immediate termination of your Services.

SECTION 2 - GENERAL CONDITIONS We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time. You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, or resell any portion of the Service without express written permission from us.

 

SECTION 3 - ACCURACY OF BILLING AND ACCOUNT INFORMATION We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household, or per order. This includes orders placed under the same customer account, credit card, and/or shipping address.

 

SECTION 4 - WARRANTIES & PRODUCT CONDITION We specialize in enterprise-grade hardware. Our warranty terms are strictly defined by product condition:

  • Brand New (Retail/OEM): 5-Year Limited Warranty.

  • Refurbished/Recertified: 2-Year Comprehensive Warranty. Warranty claims require a manufacturer-certified fault code (e.g., Seagate SeaTools) and Serial Number (S/N) verification.

SECTION 5 - GOVERNING LAW These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

SECTION 6 - DELIVERY & RISK OF LOSS (ANTI-FRAUD CLAUSE) To protect against fraudulent claims and "non-receipt" disputes, the following commercial terms apply:

  1. Transfer of Risk: Risk of loss and title for all items pass to the customer upon our delivery to the carrier.

  2. Proof of Delivery: In accordance with standard US e-commerce regulations, successful carrier tracking (marked as "Delivered") constitutes conclusive legal proof of delivery. We are not liable for packages stolen after confirmed delivery ("Porch Piracy").

  3. Refusal of Shipment: Refusing to sign for a package does not constitute a valid return. If a shipment is returned due to customer refusal or failure to collect from a local hub within 7 days, a 25% restocking fee plus all original/return shipping costs will be deducted from any potential credit.

  4. No Refund Without Physical Return: Under no circumstances will a refund be issued before the original hardware is returned, inspected, and the Serial Number (S/N) is verified at our facility.

  5. Address Responsibility: The customer is responsible for providing a secure and accurate shipping address. Address modifications are not possible once an order is in transit.

SECTION 7 - DISPUTES & MALICIOUS CHARGEBACKS Robert Electronics maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward "Friendly Fraud."

  • Any customer who initiates a chargeback for a package marked as "Delivered" by the carrier, or attempts to claim a refund without returning the merchandise, will be reported to national credit reporting agencies and may be subject to legal collection efforts in the State of Wyoming.

  • We reserve the right to provide all IP logs, communication history, and tracking documentation to financial institutions and law enforcement during dispute investigations.

SECTION 8 - RMA & RETURNS All returns must be pre-authorized and issued an RMA Number. Items returned without an RMA, or items that show physical damage (dents, scratches, or broken connectors), will be rejected and the warranty voided. Replacement units are typically processed within 8-14 business days of receipt of the returned product.

SECTION 9 - PERSONAL INFORMATION Your submission of personal information through the store is governed by our Privacy Policy.
